An interactive periodic table, moon mirror, sailing - this is just a small sample from the series of new exhibits gradually adding to the iQLANDIA exhibitions. Come and try them out.
Moon mirror
Why do we see our image in the mirror placed on the moon with a delay?
The moon is about 385,000 kilometers from Earth. Light travels at over 300,000 km in just one second. So for our image to fly to the mirror, bounce and come back, it takes 2.6 seconds. Come and try what it is like to see yourself with a delay. It's a very interesting and unusual experience.
Sailing
Can you sail against the wind?
The model boats with swiveling sails should follow the route prepared. Try to sail with the wind, against the wind and perpendicular to wind direction.
Interactive billiards
Can you score a point with every stroke?
Come and experience natural laws in practice. The camera will show you that the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of incidence. And you'll also have fun and a little sporting adrenaline.
Paper plane
What is the best shape for a paper plane?
Fold, test, launch from a ramp.
