Into the laboratory!

Check out our modern laboratories and become a crazy scientist or inventor for a while. The world beneath the microscope, perfume production, the secrets of invisible ink, the miracle of cyanotype... … – to just a few of our thematic workshops, which our wonderful lecturers have prepared for you. Thanks to the limited capacity, you will enjoy the almost family atmosphere during your research. And who knows, you might come up with another great invention to enrich mankind!

Workshop times:

Every weekend, state holidays and school vacations at 14.00 and 15.00.  

We recommend looking at the current times in the  calendar (na on the main page). Entry is free for individuals and families as part of their visit to iQLANDIA, the capacity of the laboratory is 25 people, registration cards can be picked up at the cash desk while purchasing entry tickets.

Science show

You will be convinced that science is fun by the popular science show, with which our lecturers have garnered success at home and abroad. Do you want to play around with substances at an extremely low temperature, reaching almost -200 °C? Warm yourself in the glow of flames of various temperatures, colors and origins? Or perhaps dance on an insulating mat energized by several hundred thousand volts? No problem! You can take these very experiences from our daily science show full of suspense, explosions and fires

Science show times:

Big science show (40 min.) – Tue to Sun (including. holidays) from 11.00, Sat and Sun (including holidays) additionally from 16.00

Little science show (20 min.) – Tues to Fri from 15.00, Sat and Sun (including holidays) from 13.00

Research activities in the exhibitions

Make a nanofiber, chat with Thespian the robot, test your taste buds and many other surprises await you in almost every exhibition.
We have prepared accompanying activities with lecturers directly in the exhibitions for all our curious visitors. During weekend and holiday opening hours these take place several times a day, and at least once during working days.
